 I designed and built our new home in Salmon Arm, B.C. It is a true post  and beam structure, with mortise and tennons and hardwood pegs. Hyde Saw Mill supplied a total of close to 20,000 bf. of Douglas fir timber and around 2,500 bf of larch for our plank flooring.
The "free of heart" quality of the wood has been excellent Working with Al Hyde and his son Tyler has been very professional and has been fun too.

As a satisfied customer with Hyde Sawmill, it is my pleasure to write a customer review.  Our first experience with Hyde Sawmill was with our home in Wilden Developments in Kelowna BC.  We build an upscale home and Hyde provided us with 1700 square feet of vertical cut fur that was used for our flooring throughout the home.  It was a beautiful product and was actually the selling point of the home at the time of the sale, it was an awesome product.  Our second experience with Hyde Sawmill was the building of our home in Sicamous BC.  We built a fir post and beam style home, and Hyde Sawmill provided us with a beautiful product that many people complement on as they review our place.  We also had Hyde provide us with our cedar decking and the fir product for our pergola at the rear of our home. Hyde sawmill products I would recommend to anyone, they are very professional to deal with, they provide a product on time and most important, the product is a premium in nature.  You will not regret buying your product through Hyde Sawmill.

I have used Hyde Sawmill on several of my projects. At this time I feel they are the only mill that can provide quality timbers at a competitive  price. Al Hyde and the crew at Hyde sawmill are always professional to deal with. All Product is cut on time and ready on or before agreed upon delivery date.  Some of my jobs require special timbers, for example we had a fascia 53 feet long and wanted no joints. Hyde's sawmill cut very nice piece and it looks fantastic. Other special items would include fireplace mantles, some requiring a live edge. 
To sum up. Hyde" saw mill is one of the best mills
around.

Hyde Sawmill has been supplying wood to BBDS for several years.
The wood has always been of the highest quality. People who have looked at the wood as we are constructing our docks, have asked where we got the wood and some of them have become customers.

As in any business sometimes you make and error in your wood estimate, this has been the case with us as well. Hyde Sawmills has always be great at helping out as when you realize you are short of lumber, you usually need it right away and Hyde’s has always come through.
